Uppsala University
Dear friends,
We arrived in Uppsala, a University town not far from Stockholm. The Uppsala University, together with the Lund University are the most ancient and famous University in Sweden. Here we had the chance to meet Olle Svensson, professor at the University of Uppsala, and specialist of the waves power production. We had a very interesting discussion about decentralized power production, and the use of the resources nature put at our disposal. The professor told us that one of the main obstacles to an efficient use of the power waves is power transportation, and storage. His PHD thesis was studying the first wave power prototype linked to a “real” mainland grid, which makes his thesis project particularly interesting.
